While on a hike, a few weeks ago, these blossoms caught my eye.
So delicate.
In my garden, the pink theme continued.
Can you imagine the fragrance?
Although I love flowers, I think these watery shots by the lake may be my favourites.
Any thoughts?

The photos of the blooms are gorgeous. I think my blood pressure went down a few points just looking at the pictures of the water and the rocks...gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI would just love to dip my toes into that clean clear water! It's beautiful...and looks cool and refreshing! The flowers are lovely...the way the light hits the rocks makes them my favorite!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are gorgeous. Love the pretty pinks. The watery captures are cool looking. Great photos and mosaics. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI love peonies and I can't grow them here, so I must enjoy yours. I do like the watery shots -- so clear!
ReplyDeleteI love the watery rocks too. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteA bouquet of rocks...very nice! I like them best, too, because it makes me feel as if I could go wading and enjoy the cool water.
ReplyDeleteThe look and the Sound of water flowing over rocks is wonderful. We just returned from the Great Smoky Mountains and got to experience both. Also got ticks....icky.
ReplyDeleteThe watery rocks are cool and the flowers so pretty. Can't decide which is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI cant't decide. They're all really beautiful shots! I love that you can see the ripple in the water over the rocks -so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour flower pictures are very pretty and I love all the pink, but those stones in the water almost appear to be moving! So glad I found your blog by visiting/participating in Mosaic Monday.

Pink peonies say early summer to me, I can appreciate the fragrance you have from them. The first thing I noticed about the rocks/stones is how smooth the water has made them. I collected a bunch on holiday last summer for this reason, I like turning them over in my hand.

Now this is a difficult choice, because I'm a stone collector too. I think I'll have to go for the peonies this time, because I know how wonderful they smell. I don't think mine will bloom this year, their first year, so I'll enjoy yours.
ReplyDeleteWOW!Great shots, Karen! Love all :o) But the watery pictures are my favs because I`m waiting for a hot summer to swim. And those remind me about it :o) But the flowers are so delicate and beautiful...remind me about the lovely summer days outside...Oooh, it`s so difficult to choice...ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL ;O)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week
love

There is so much beauty in the world and it's impossible to choose. The water and rocks are so serene, and the flowers are delicate beauties. Your photos are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love your peonies in your garden so beautiful with their delicate hearts of petals. Water is soothing and I love sitting beside it (river, lake, ocean, fountain) but I think flowers give and shine with a special radiance!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Yes I can imagine the fragrance of the peonies. I have planted a very fragrant one next to my back deck, and it is such a treat to sit there in the evening with the fragrance permeating the air.

Hello Karen,
ReplyDeleteOh my, what gorgeous photos! I love the apple blossoms and the peonies, but your river rocks are incredible! I collect rocks so I really appreciate the different colours under the water. Beautiful!
Blessings,
Sandi
