A Package in the Mail

I do love a package in the mail. One arrived this week and contained a prize from a giveaway hosted by Judith at the lovely Lavender Cottage.

Once again, thank you!

I may graduate from plunking things in the ground and hoping for the best to becoming a real gardener!

Doesn't this look like fun? I've played with fan decks of paint colours and fan decks of Canadian trivia for students, but one for plants is such a clever idea. The Plant Swatch is beautifully described at Lavender Cottage, here.

If only the deck came with Judith as well!
She is one woman who is very knowledgeable about plants and knows her way around a garden (and tea table).

If you have yet to visit Lavender Cottage, please plan to spend some time there!

  1. Hi Karen, That fan deck looks wonderful. I can't wait to get mine. I am a winner too but Judith said it would be a couple weeks before it reaches the US.
I love the photo of your Jonquil. I have nothing blooming in my garden yet but things are beginning to grow and bud.
    Have a wonderful Easter.

  2. Hello Karen - you make me sound too good to be true. :-) I'm glad you're happy with the plant swatch and thank you so much for the shout out for my blog.
    Happy Easter.

  3. Beautiful! Congratulations on your win. You'll make good use of that.

  4. A plant swatch is new to me, but looks like a fun idea.

  5. It is well within the average computer user’s ability to make several hundred dollars per day while working about 3 or 4 hours per day filling out paid online surveys.

what to do to make money
