☀Sunlit Sunday: Season 2, Week #6


These photos, by the way, are not of landscapes to be found near My Little Home and Garden, currently under a thick blanket of fresh snow, as my shovel can attest to this weekend.



Some of you already know that I made my first trip to Arizona recently, returning this past Wednesday night.

I found plenty of beauty in the desert and the mountains. These cacti are reaching their arms to the warm sun. One could argue that I did the same.





 Before leaving the state, someone asked me if I'd like to return.

Yes.



Of course, a bright, sunny, snowy winter day has its own charm, especially after hiring a young man to do a third round of shoveling!

    Every place has it's own beauty and appeal, doesn't it? The desert is a place I do not know well, yet life flourishes there. Wonderful photos. Glad you are home and cozy - the snow will soon be gone.

    I would love to visit Arizona. Our daughter and family have been thee several time. Love your photos. I like the Arizona weather better but that photo of back home is well done. I believe it is my favorite. Blessings for the coming week.

    Arizona is the hottest place I've ever been to.
    Your photos are magnificent. I love the contrast of the two climates, and I especially love the cacti.

    Those are beautiful pictures from Arizona. I hope to get back out West again. It's sooo different than it is here!
    I can't keep track of the snow falls we've had but at least with the sun out it makes it more tolerable! I think we've had a record amount of sun this winter...and I love it!

    What a change of scenery Karen ! The cacti are amazing, they're like the one's we saw when we were young and watching "Road Runner" on Tv ! :) I'm sure it must have been a memorable trip. I like the arbour in your yard !
