Welcome to Season 3 of ☀Sunlit Sunday. This link-up gathering was started in 2011 to help add a little sunshine to what can be, in this part of the world, a rather grey period from January through March.
Whether you're snuggled up in a northern country or sunning yourself in a southern one, everyone is welcome to participate.
Please read the guidelines found below for further details.
I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar participants as well as brand new ones this year.
Karen, your photos are perfect for the first Sunlit Sunday of 2014. I love the golden light in the first one and they all evoke warmth. Thanks for hosting this meme again this winter. I know I'll enjoy it. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteHello Karen...I love the photo of the sunlight on that beautiful, wool blanket...it evokes instant warmth and comfort from the warmth of the sunlight shining through to warmth of a cozy blanket on a winter afternoon. Thank you for hosting "Sunlit Sunday" and as you requested I had already put a link on my blog post maybe you just missed it...I just added a little note to click on the link and it will bring you right to this page. Thanks for your lovely comment.
ReplyDeleteA bit of sunlight is just what we need right now Karen. The cozy plaid blanket would be nice to use during our cold weather and a bowl of soup is always great comfort food.

I am so excited be here again for your Sunlit Sundays.... I just hope there is a little bit more sun shining this winter so that I have something to take pictures of.... By the way I decided to put these on my regular blog... Hoping that I will get more exposure that way.
ReplyDeleteI am going to take photos tomorrow and write a "sunlit" post.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!
Hi Karen, Sunday is here already. I enjoyed my first post on Sunlit Sunday and thank you for hosting. Taking pictures of sun with a purpose, I'll make a folder for that (organizing pic's these days) I enjoyed your first post and enjoyed your rays of light. You have amazing photos for this meme and I enjoyed the first picture although not too sure of what it is, other than it is eye catching. Your soup looks so warm and inviting, especially after the number of cold days we have had so far.

I love the first photo Karen. No sun for us today ... a dull and dreary Sunday, so thank goodness I took a couple of photos to join in yesterday. Thanks so much for hosting this fun linky party once again. I've enjoyed visiting all the sites that have joined in so far.
ReplyDeleteYour sunlit pictures are lovely and so are the others that I visited. Thank you for a little sunshine on what has been a very wet and grey day here weatherwise! xx
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten!!!! Will try to begin again next week!!! So glad I was reminded by a visit by another blogger! Cathy
ReplyDeleteSo nice to find your blog. I'll be looking for sunlit pictures each week.
ReplyDeleteHello, and Happy New Year, Karen!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your hot soup and warm blanket. Yes, they are what I really like most right now! I look forward to joining "Sunlit Sunday".
Such lovely sunny captures. Soup is what's warming us all from the inside out these days. I love the warm blanket, too. Thanks so much for hosting this great link up.
ReplyDeleteThe sun sparkled today and it was actually really hot while I was washing windows. I thought it would be a good idea to wash the windows because that usually brings on the rain and we definitely need rain.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this party.
Hello Karen
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see you are continuing to host your party in 2014 - thank you.
Your sunshine photos are wonderful - the suns yellow glow through the glass jar is outstanding!
I apologize for arriving late.
Happy New Year!

Hi Karen, Happy to see Sunlit Sunday is back! I need to take my camera out again-the weathers been dreary, so I haven't taken many photos. Hopefully I can join the party next week :) Thanks for stopping by and stay warm!

Love your photos, Karen. I hope to participate at least part of the time. I don't know why, but I just feel so busy right now. If and when the sun comes out, I'll be there with my trusty camera!
