Between the weed-pulling, lawn-mowing, shrubbery-pruning...
...and the plans to fix all that needs fixing over the next while...
...I took some time to appreciate what was just fine with my garden...
...what was saying, softly and calmly, "Take a breath, and look until you see."

I'm happy to be linking with Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.
Gorgeous...I am so excited to see our Irises bloom too!!
ReplyDeleteYes, there's always sooooo much to do (I'll be doing some of that shrub pruning myself tomorrow) that we don't always slow down to see what's right there for us to enjoy. Beautiful tulip and nice bokeh!
ReplyDeleteI like that "look until you see"
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found beauty in your garden.
Gorgeous! You're right, sometimes we have to keep looking until we actually see, not just with our eyes, but with our heart. Love the irises!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and beautifully said. We often forget to just stop and enjoy. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHello Karen
ReplyDeleteI haven't been blogging too much with being in the garden but I am in my element there and just lose track of time. It is nice to stop and admire the beauty and watch the birds for a bit before getting back to the nitty gritty.
Have a great week.
Judith
Yesterday I weeded for hours, feeling as though I was getting nowhere - then I walked away for a bit and looked back to see the beautiful, weeded knot garden. It was worth it all!
ReplyDeleteI love your images. So nice to see the vivid blue irises. I won't have them here for another two or three weeks.
