An amaryllis flower joined them, months after Christmas.
With weather fluctuations, comfort food in the form of whole wheat buns, cinnamon twirls and post-Easter French pea soup filled the house with good aromas.
For those who had followed the story of my foster cat, Cameo, the news is great. She was adopted into a wonderful home; one of her roommates is a certified therapy dog! I have a special place in my heart for the people who took in a 9 year cat. Better with age, right?
Have a lovely week.

Hi Karen, I was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering how you are. I'm glad to know all is well and life is busy for you. Your mosaics are nice, especially the food one. :) All the flowers are beautiful. I'm glad Cameo had found her new home. Hopefully spring weather will be on the way soon for us all. It's just downright nasty the past week here. Take care. Hugs. Pam

Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday - as you can see it takes me a while to get around to everyone. :-)
Hello Karen, I'm just about to start up again as well. Welcome back!

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about Cameo yesterday! So SO SO HAPPY FOR HER!! She is such a beauty and has wisdom in her eyes!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see a post from you with such a variety of goodies. Firstly, I was glad to hear of Cameo's happy new home; I'm sure she will be very comfortable and well loved. You are quite the cook and baker - I love cinnamon buns, but have always been a little nervous about working with yeast. All your creations look scrumptious! Lastly, your flowers are so pretty shining in the springtime sun. I am awaiting your peonies. I will finally get to enjoy these favourites of mine, very soon, as I will be arriving early May, to spend time with my daughter, my family, and to help my sister look for a new house and Liberty a new apartment. Can't wait!!
Have a lovely Tuesday!
Poppy
I can almost smell those good things in your kitchen, Karen.
