Today was much more agreeable, with a trip into the city to visit an art gallery in the company of a good friend. This weekend will find me getting back to the still-not-finished garden,
no double scheduling my work around the anticipated rainfall. I had great plans for having everything done by the end of May!
That being said, the phox are blooming . . .
and it won't be long until the peonies burst open.
While indoors, I'll enjoy two bouquets of flowers that were given to me, a week apart. Feast or famine!
What's new with you?
Here's wishing you an enjoyable weekend, with a dash of beauty thrown in its midst!
Thank you for your visit.
Things are starting to come together in the garden, though there is still a lot of work to do. For now I'll be satisfied though, as company comes tomorrow. Your pansies are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese shots are truly stunning, and that last one has all the colors I adore. Just gorgeous.

Your flowers have made me smile!

Pretty does not describe your flowers.
ReplyDeleteEverything is beautiful
It is always a good thing to focus on pretty. 'Pretty therapy' can really lift spirits despite any plumbing and internet problems. Its a good thing you have so many pretty things in your garden to soak in. I can't wait to see your peonies once they burst open. Have a wonderful weekend Karen! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Karen, enjoy your garden and the weekend!

Beautiful, beautiful flowers! If it stops raining, I might try to plant some more flowers. We have rain for the past 4 days :(
ReplyDeleteThe pansies are gorgeous. My pot has filled in and is producing many blooms, best for a long time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers!

What a delight to drop in to see your beautiful smiley flowers. They make me smile back.
ReplyDeleteSuch spring prettiness - I do love bouquets in the house.
ReplyDeleteAnd here it is still far too cold for time of year, but yes bouquets in the house give us so much joy. And the vivid colours of your smiling pansies makes me feel very happy.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are glorious, Karen! The pansies are so colorful and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love violets...they are almost finished here for the season. Looking forward to seeing your peonies in bloom!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen
ReplyDeleteNice flowers in your bouquet. As for the ones in the garden, we've waited a long time to savour their beauty. Do you get the feeling that one day all this rain will stop and that will be it for the summer?
Judith

Beautiful flowers... I love the pansies, they are one of my favorite flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe pansies are so happy looking. You can never receive too many bouquets of flowers! Like you, I am working my way through the garden chores and have a ways still to go. It would be nice to get it all done before it gets really hot.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love your gorgeous flower photos,
ReplyDeleteKathy
This is such a lovely post...all your flowers and their photos are absolutely beautiful, Karen!

Good Evening Karen, I've said it before, and I MUST say it again! Your photographs are so beautiful. The colour of the pansies is so vibrant.... and yes they do bring a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, a tightly budded Peony... you know with a few warm days you are going to have the most beautiful flower to enjoy.
Your garden is going to be a riot of colour.
Have a lovely evening.
Best Wishes
