Oh yes! My son grew some tomato plants this summer and the tomatoes he harvested were the sweetest little balls of flavour I have tasted in ages. I love cooking with tomatoes.
There is nothing better than home grown tomatoes! I grew a few small jelly bean tomatoes and they had the best taste. My daughter brought me some of hers so I have been enjoying them. Have a great week!
I just love this time of year when we finally harvest all these bright red tomatoes. It's a cheerful time of year ! I also have cherry tomatoes and I love them, they are so productive ! Your mosaic is beautiful and reminds us that fall is upon us !
Oh those tomatoes look amazing! I can just taste those warm tomatoes! smile... Also, would love the recipe for that tomato stuffed squash..it looks amazing!
Gorgeous pictures of those beautiful red tomatoes! I love the fragrance too of freshly picked tomatoes, especially when they are warmed by the sun....delicious! Wishing you a wonderful week, Karen! Helen x
Karen, your tomatoes look glorious.... I love that each one looks like it has a little ray of sunshine smiling down on it. My tomatoes were quite disasterous as the large ones didn't reach their full size and the little ones, well they are so tiny you can hardly see them. We just didn't have enough sunshine this year. Better luck next year. Best Wishes Daphne

Is there anything prettier than a tomato fresh and ripe from the garden? I think not. And if it is flavorful...benissimo!
