☀Sunlit Sunday: Enjoying Winter

Welcome to Sunlit Sunday. It was a busy week, with a few little messes to untangle, but the sun shone on many days.

I still have a centrepiece I received in December. The carnations are long since gone, the Christmas balls removed, but most of the greenery remains and few more pinecones were added to what is now a winter arrangement.

On Thursday, it was time to breathe deeply and enjoy a hike.

 There were some wooden bridges,

 sunlight through the trees,

a long creek,

and even an old log cabin.
It was a beautiful way to spend a couple of hours.

Your turn.

  3. The photos are absolutely dazzling - and I love the little log cabin - it would be fun to fix up and serve tea to friends and family.

  6. What a bright and refreshing walk! Our winter here has just been wet and muddy so to see crisp snow reminds me of what winter should look like! Thank you for hosting Sunlit Sunday, I have been able to join in this time as the sun came out for a little while to shine on the blossom here. Have a wonderful week ahead xx

  10. Been raining for a few days here. No sunshine. I don't walk good in the snow so don't have as many snow shots as I would like. Yours are beautiful. Sure no sun in Central Ky. today. Blessings this week.

  11. That looks like a great place for a winter walk Karen. We have very little snow here at the moment and the trails are probably a mess and icy so we haven't been out at all. We can't even snowshoe or snowmobile! Have a great week. Pam
