☀Sunlit Sunday: Season 2, Week #10

Welcome to Sunlit Sunday.

I would like to say that I was outside enjoying the beautiful day, but I found myself sorting through the guest room. I really do think that there must be a better place to put my big platter and roasting pan than under the bed.

Once I clear out the kitchen, some space should magically appear for them. Right?

One job leads to another, it seems, but it's nice to have the time to putter and feather my nest. I think the birds are more efficient than I am at completing the task.

The notion of birds nesting obviously brings on thoughts of the upcoming season, which leads me to an announcement about this meme. The final ☀Sunlit Sunday for this year will be March 24th, just a few days after the first day of spring.

With that in mind while you visit this week's participants, please consider "following" those that speak to you. Also, why not add a few to your blog roll? I'd love to think that you plan to stay in touch with some of the people you've met here.

As for me, please note that "My Little Home and Garden" is also on Facebook. You're invited to drop by anytime! Each Friday, feel free to post an original photo and your blog link (if you have one). You may well meet some new friends there. I did!

 It's linking time . . .

  2. I've been doing a lot of sorting and rearranging since the beginning of the year. My kitchen is small and I have to prioritize the things that are in there all the time and store things elsewhere that I don't use very often. Love the design on the dish and the sun brightens it up just nice!! You are ending the Sunlit Sunday series on my birthday this year! I have met new friends and your blog party has been one of the friendliest I've joined!

  4. That sounds like a make work project Karen. :) One thing does lead to another when it comes to house cleaning. What pretty sunshine pictures you have shared today. I love the sunlight on the tulip and ivy and that pretty plate. Simple every day things but in the sunlight they glow. I hope you have a lovely Sunday. Thank you for hosting. Pam

  11. Beautiful light coming in. Great shots. Sometimes I just enjoy the sunshine streaming in through the windows. Being outside is great, but sun coming in from outside can certainly cheer one up and motivate you to get things done!

  12. I love the tulips. They look so pretty and spring-like! I store everything under my beds. If it wasn't for under the beds I would hardly have any storage at all.

  15. I love these Sunlit Sunday links, even though I failed to get one in on time this week. I'll be visiting some of the others throughout the week.
Had to laugh at you storing a big platter under the bed. I wonder how many of us store odd things there.

  19. Gorgeous uplifting sunny photos! Those huge platters are just so big, they rarely fit on modern shelves or into cupboards.....I am sure lots of people store them under a bed to keep them safe!
    Wishing you a wonderful week.
