Road Trip, Part 2: Bay St. Lawrence

My current travels have taken me to Bay St. Lawrence, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

at times,
mystical, magical fog
dances on the mountains

beautifully coloured
fishing boats
nestle
in the welcoming harbour
when work is done

whether boat or person,
all of us
need
a safe harbour

Thank you for your visit. I hope you'll leave a comment; I love reading them. (If you'd like to see Part 1 of this trip, click here.)

I'm pleased to be linking with Little Red House's "Mosaic Monday".

  1. I loved seeing your sea pictures both in this post and the last. Being beside the sea is one of my favourite things, and I love to see other coastlines besides the ones I know so well. Your pictures are beautiful. Have a great week.

The hanging clouds on the mountain, the colorfuls boats and the harbour...everything is lovely. Those photos take me back to a time I read Anne's World as a teenager.

  5. They sure like colour out east don't they? From colourful fishing boats to houses painted all kinds of hues, and I like it.
This fun seeing your trip as you go.
